Motivations:
I am motivated to achieve my aspirations for a number of different reasons. The primary motivation is the future of my family. I am newly married and there is nothing more that matters to me that providing a comfortable, stable environment for my wife and I to live. A successful career in the banking industry will provide me with the stability and opportunity to achieve this goal. This is especially true with my current organization, First Citizens Bank, that has been stable and financially secure throughout recession. Another motivation is to be successful in an organization and industry that I take pride in. My industry and organization rely heavily on providing high standards of service to both internal and external customers. Achieving service excellence is my passion. There will always be room for improvement in this arena but I believe I have a solid foundation in place. I am motivated to improve this trait and take pride in providing it to the patrons and associates at First Citizens Bank.
Finally, I am motivated to learn and apply all applicable information to improve the operational oversight, compliance procedures, risk mitigation and process improvement in the banking industry. These are the areas where I believe I can excel and I am motivated to learn as much as possible to make myself an indispensable and valuable asset. My personality type (extroverted, social, enthusiastic) is one that is not frequently found within this area of the industry. However, changes in the industry, including increased competition and regulation along with decreased operating margins, call for the need of a diverse group of talent. I am motivated and eager to contribute my input in this area and strongly believe that I have the ability to become a successful operations manager in the banking industry.
